Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, AFSM was forced to rethink it’s approach to engaging and connecting with our creative community. Through this, Artform Swapmeet’s ‘Artist Takeovers' were born.

AFSM's Artist Takeover series is an authentic way to connect the community with local artists by allowing them to utilize our platform to showcase and express themselves as freely and organically as they choose.

Artist Takeovers provide the artists with the ability to share their work, process, and identity through an autobiographical lens to an engaged and supportive audience.

Artist Takeovers reinforce AFSM’s commitment to celebrating diversity within our art community by providing both the artist and the audience with mutually beneficial exchanges of knowledge and inspiration.

Artform Swapmeet is always looking to promote artists local to the San Diego/Tijuana region. We gladly accept suggestions and look forward to building new friendships. Thank you for your continued support.
